We are at the Houston airport hoping our flight doesn’t get canceled.

Yesterdays flight from Tucson to Houston was canceled so we drove to Phoenix. We were able to make lemonade out of lemons. On the drive we passed Jeff’s brother Mikes new house. We jumped out of the car (Jeff jumped. I carefully stepped) saw their house, gave him a masked hug and were on our way.

Amy was at work ten minutes from the airport so jumped out again gave her a quick hug and made it to the airport.

Looking forward to fully recovering and covid to get better so we can fly to Chicago and see Jeff’s mom and other brother Don and Gabriella.

Hope everyone has a happy, safe, healthy New Years Eve.

I’m having a great time with my family. I’ve been able to mix hanging out with resting and recuperating, all while being covid-safe.

Unfortunately, Jeffs mom Jan is back in the hospital with an infection. That is a total bummer and concern but she’s a fighter and in good spirits. Looking forward to being fully recovered, covid to get better and Jan to be out of the hospital!!

Flying yesterday tired me out, but today I’m feeling better and so happy to see my family. Covid is making it trickier, but everyone hanging out with us outside

this walk with my parents was great and then back to few room to rest. These comfy robes make resting that much more luxurious.

Thank you for all your support! It’s been the best present ever to have you all in our lives!!!

I’m feeling good and excited to see my family tomorrow

We also finished this puzzle.

I’m still recovering but getting more energy every day. It’s been raining but there was a break in the clouds and we went for walk. It felt good to be outside even though i got super tired pretty quickly.

I only went a few blocks before getting super tired. But it felt great to get outside.

I’m stop recovering well. I’m watching a lot of Schitts creek, spirographing and doing a puzzle. Surgery results won’t be back into Jan 2. So just concentrating on recovering.

Remember Spirograph? I was never good at it as a kid but I have a really good feeling that now that I have a ton of time I’m gonna really be excellent at it.

They had me blow into this thing to I guess clear my lungs or prove I could follow directions after surgery. I took it with me cause why not. It’s not a contest but Jeff is kicking my butt with it.

I’m feeling good. Drinking coffee and resting. Nice seeing the sun and mountains out the window. I’ll probably go for a hike in them later today. Hahahaha. Just kidding. I wouldn’t even do that if i was 100% back to normal.
