I’m still sick, but am not too sick for my Zoom Spanish lessons and homework. I think using colored pencils makes it more fun.

I’m almost over my cold and happy to report Jeff has not caught it. I still have a runny nose. I asked my Zoom Spanish teacher how you say “runny nose” in Spanish. She said there isn’t a direct translation. You just say in Spanish my nose has mucous. I guess it makes sense. Runny never really made sense in terms of noses.

I’m down with the cold that is going around. I napped most of the day with some balcony breaks. Sven and Sergio we’re good support sloths.

Jeff and I both feel like we’re getting colds so we had a quiet day. I spent most of the day hanging out on our balcony.

Our friends, Kim and Deb have left the city to explore other parts of Panama. So it was back to regular life. We had more green juice today. Even Sven and Sergio were dubious. Although this one was Naked Juice brand so really good. I think it had more apple juice than greens.

We went with Kim and Deb on a walk along the causeway. It was long and hot but we had these refreshing coconuts.
Then we saw another sloth.

This one was very slothlike and taking a nap.

Our friends Kim and Deb are visiting Panama. Kim was my boss at Starbucks 25 years ago and we’ve all been friends ever since.
We went up Ancon hill in hopes of seeing sloths and got really lucky. Not only did we see a lot, Kim takes great photos. These are all her pictures.
This is one of the two sloths we saw. The other one was sleeping and looked like a ball of fur.

We saw several toucans.

We even saw some monkeys.

This is a Geoffrey’s Tamarin monkey
There was also an iguana and agouti.

When I was at the pool today I saw these sailboats. There are never anythung but fishing boats out here. We always thought it was because it was too shallow, but now we are not sure.
I also thought when I took the photo you would actually be able to see the boats. They looked bigger in person.

Today was a good day. I’m still working on building back muscle. Ir’s slow but good. We also made zuchini noodles for dinner. Along with veggie meatballs. Did you know we are a multi country spiralizer couple? We have a spiralizer un our Seattle storage locker and one here.
You would think with worldwide spiralizer ownership we wouldmake veggie noodles more often.

I forgot to post this yesterday. This is a photo Jeff took on our forest walk. Ick!!!! Luckily he, was ahead of me and texted me this photo. By the time I saw the photo the spider was long gone

Today we walked in Costa Del Este which is a walk we do a lot. There were a lot of palm trees and birds but no insects.
