On Thursday it rained in the afternoon and cooled off enough to go for a walk.
Within five minutes of heading out it was a downpour. A really nice woman led us to her garage where she suggested we wait out the storm. Once it stopped we continued on our walk but a few minutes later it poured again
We took shelter under a tree.
But soon it was raining so hard the tree wasn’t helping. At that point a different nice women opened up her gate and let us sit on her porch.
By this time we were soaked. If you look at the difference in the color of Jeff’s shirt in the pictures you can tell by the time we were on the porch we were drenched.
Finally after an hour total it stopped raining, we made it back to the Airbnb and wished we had a dryer. I’m pretty sure this is the last Airbnb we get without a dryer.
Oh boy, we’ve gotten caught in some crazy rain in Texas & Maryland… so different from a Seattle drizzle
We got spoiled. Seattle rain doesn’t hurt when it comes down on your head. This rain, hurt.
