Today was a nice but hot day. We walked along the Amador Causeway which is like a bridge that connects several small islands.
We walk here all the time but never noticed this area where you can see fish.
When we left home it was cloudy and not too hot, but by the time we got there it was hot and humid.
Good thing we had water and were able to buy more.
We saw several ships heading to and from the Canal. I hope this one had the Starbucks tumblers I forecast on it. From the amout of boats lined up to go in and out of the Canal it’s hard to believe there are still supply chain issues.
Its hard to see in this picture but the dots on the horizon are all ships.
We walked two miles and I felt back to myself including tripping over my own feet and taking a tumble. Jeff caught me mid fall so I’m fine. By the time we got home we could see that is was pouring on the causeway so we got lucky on the weather. I’ll still take hot over pouring rain.
I’m completely out of nadi now!! My red and white blood cells should be back to normal which is great.
I got this in the mail today.
This was so sweet but I don’t know anyone named Deana. Then I remembered that there is a really cool non profit that sends scarves for free to women going thru Wasabi. I ordered it early on when I thought I would lose my hair.
I look forward to hopefully donating this and my wig and the just in case head coverings I bought unused if I don’t lose my hair!
Today I felt good so we went for a walk in the Coste De Este neighborhood. I forgot to wear my sun hat so I had to use my hair as a neck covering. It was a hot as you would imagine.
The tide was out which highlighted the trash that washed up on the beach. It’s hard to see in this photo. Any trash you see unfortunately there is so much more. Every weekend volunteers clean the beach but more just washes up. You can really understand the problem of plastic in the ocean when you see it.
Seeing the trash made me feel icky but there was this portable sink.
Walking felt great but I was a little more tired than I expected so we cut the walk short and went to Organica.
Look how smug I am buying organic.
We’ve been to this location at least 10 times but today was the first time I noticed a cafe on the second floor.
from the second floor in took this photo and freaked out Jeff when in called to him from up here. He also didn’t know there was a 2nd floor.
Then later in the day there was this rainbow, unrelated to shopping or the walk but still nice.
Today was the nadir or low point of this round of Wasabi which means my red and white blood cells and platelets were at their lowest. I was not only super tired I was also cold. It was 88 degrees today so not really pajama pants weather.
It was a gorgeous day to lie on the balcony. This was my view when I looked left
