Rocking the kasbah in Tangiers

I had to say it at least once. Now I’ve gotten it out of the way. Besides being a great song from the 80’s, a kasbah means fortress and or old city. It’s also spelled casbah as in the song. The kasbah in Tangiers is built up on a hill overlooking the water. You can’t walk through it but you can walk around it.

And then you are back in the markets.

And more doors.

  1. Your pictures are fantastic and Tangiers looks like a great place to visit. I see no evidence, however, that either you or Jeff actually rocked the kasbah in any way whatsoever. I hope you get around to doing that before you leave.

    1. Dammit I was hoping no one would notice. It is indeed true. We were not really rockin the Casbah. I apologize for any confusion this might have caused. I hope to do better in the future.

  2. I love your door pictures. They are such a curated collection!

For what it’s worth, I think you both should get djellabas. Very stylish and chic ones of course.

    1. Thank you and yes that would be the most stylish of course. They look really comfortable but I think I would trip over mine if it was floor length.

  3. Your trip looks incredible! Thank you for sharing it with all the photos and stories- you and Jeff look great. ❤️

    1. Thank you. We are having a good time. Although I’m not taking photos of Jeff helping me up and down all the stairs.
