San Jose Del Cabo

I’m still two weeks behind on my posts. We were in Cabo in the beginning of October which was about a month too early. It was really hot.

Here we are 30 years ago on one of our first trips here.

A lot has changed besides us and our clothing choices. Our first trip here we camped on the beach.

Even if we wanted to, which we don’t, you can’t camp anymore. Here’s where you stay now, which was really nice.

The actual town is still charming.

Thirty years ago we ate at this taco place in the market every day.

Their store was gone but the market and taco places is still there.

They even had some nice entertainment. This guy set up a speaker and microphone . He didn’t even seem to be asking for money.

It’s grown up a lot since the 90s. This street is all supermarkets now. But, so have we. Jeff no longer wears a belt wallet and I, well I might actually still own those shorts.

  1. Camping on the beach? How times have changed!

I could not even imagine such an otherworldly experience.

Nowadays, I grow faint at the thought of not having a cabana poolside with bottle service. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I love the comparison pictures. You guys looked happy then and you look happy now! Cabo has cchanged but it sounds like fun reminiscing about 30 years ago.
