I’m feeling good as long a I’m sitting or lying down. But as soon as I try to do normal things I get too tired.
Jeff and I walked to the organic store this morning. It’s a short, flat 20 minute walk.
It started out great, especially when I sat down 5 minutes into the walk for a rest.
I still felt good when we spotted this parrot on top of the white part of the building.
But then I used up any energy I had and was too tired to shop and almost too tired to cross the street to get in the waiting taxi to take us home.
Back in our apt I had a meltdown when I had to lie down to regain enough energy to even take a shower.
But then I was able to rest and was ok. And now we have the makings for an all organic pizza that Jeff is making for dinner while I rest.
All the advice I’ve read and been told to listen to my body and not push myself is making more sense now.
Sorry you are feeling so bad. I hope things pick up in the next couple of days… xoxo
Thanks Robin. I think I’ll be on the upswing by tomorrow.
Thinking of you! Hoping this journey you are on will heal you completely!❤
Thank you so much Anna!!!❤❤🧡
BIG HUGS XXXOOO
Thanks Alison!!!
Sheryl did you ever do or watch the 20 minute workouts that were on tv in the mornings on the 80s? They used to say during the aerobics workout “you’re tough, you’re strong, I know you can do it!” And that’s what I think of you as you’re going through chemo. You e got this!!
PS I know about the workouts bc my mom dragged us out of bed at 6am in the morning on school days to do them!
Thanks Mel!! I did not do those workouts but I am going to use this as my motto. And I love that you’re mom woke you up to do then before school!
I think it is important to remember that your body is doing an extremely difficult workout every minute of every day right now trying to get you healthy…. So be kind to your self and listen to your body telling you to take breaks….mental breaks, physical breaks, just no break dancing…at least not for a while….
Hugs
Thank you Brenda. I hadn’t thought of it that way but you are so right. And I’ll be back to break dancing in no time.
