I got into the clinical trial! My first treatment was on June 29. So far the side effects aren’t great. I have nausea and fatigue. But well worth it if this drug works!
My sister Laura lives in Pleasant Hill. Her and her family went in vacation and let us stay at her house. The above photo is in her beautiful backyard.

I’ve eaten these cookie every morning with each round of chemo. I was happy to find them here. They really help a bad stomach.
Below is an AI photo.

The photo above is fake. Total AI. But it’s pretty funny.
My sister Jenny flew up for the 4th of July weekend which was great. BBQ, corn, fireworks and family made it the perfect 4th of July.

We got more photos back from our Cancun trip.

Notice in this last photo that my mom and I have the exact same excited look on our faces. Like mother, like daughter.

You and Jeff look amazing in that fourth of July costume!
Love this! You guys look AMAZING. What a fun 4th with family. Hugs
Congratulations on getting the clinical trial! And the AI-generated photo is sheer perfection — not a single pixel out of place.
Super cute, Sheryl❤️You’re the best❤️Hugs to Jeff
Thinking if you as you kick off the trial. Looks like you had a fun filled 4th surrounded by family & great food.
❤️
Thinking of you both- and hoping that all is going well. Please feel free to update me when you can. You can use WhatsApp or simply email me at my new french email address: clive_en_france@outlook.com
Here is my update: Two weeks in France- Mostly spent setting up my French home to be more natural and organized. Purchase small (office organzier, stackable shelves to make better use of the limited kitchen counter space, etc.) and large (a “must have” copier/scanner/printer/fax- and a Fiido C21 E-bike)
Steve and I talk every day and we seem to (so far) be handling the separation “ok”. He will be here for a visit in mid-December- and I will work to make sure he is ready to quickly apply for his own French residency as the election approaches.
The Montpellier metro area has a free (for residents) Tram system that is wonderful- but I am really looking forward to more widely exploring the area on my bike (It should be delivered tomorrow.
From me to you both: Love, best wishes and a big, ware “e-hug”
Clive
I’m so glad you got into the trial! ❤️
