Pre-screening in San Francisco

There is an exciting clinical trial at the University of California in San Francisco that I may be able to get into.

I took a quick trip to San Fran to get testing done and got to see Laura and her family.

Joey and Casey are home for the summer, so I got to hang out with them.

An extra bonus was seeing Anne and Emanuel who just happened to be in San Fran for the weekend.

I even got to see Anne’s support sloth, Rodrigo.

Laura and I almost pulled off the funniest prank. Casey works at Burlington Coat Factory. We visited him at work and I tried on a “two pack” of dresses. They were attached which made them hard to try on but we each put one on. We planned to walk out attached and ask to buy them. But we were afraid Casey would be mortified to see his mom and aunt stumble to the counter as if we were conjoined twins.

Jeff and I will return to San Fran later this month and if all goes well I’ll start the trial.

    1. I’m not sure we could have made it to the counter. We were laughing so hard we could barely walk.

    1. Yes it would have been a mix of eye roll and trying to surpress laughter and pretending not to be related to us.
